Roaring Brook Farms is a destroyed barn in Portland. It is almost completely burned out due to a fire that happened several years earlier.
The place is largely known within Delirium for its Uncured and Invalid activity. Illegal parties and concerts with banned music occur there where Uncured boys and girls can forget the laws of segregation and talk and dance together. Alex Sheathes and Lena Haloway accidentally meet there at one point and dance. Hana Tate also attends a party there.
It is revealed in the short story Alex that the perpetrator of the fire that burned out the barn was in reality Alex himself.
